Dr. Ayşe İrem İskenderoğlu is a board-certified plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon practising at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital in İstanbul, which she joined in 2024. She qualified in medicine at İstanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2008 and completed her specialist training at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2014.

Her clinical work covers full-thickness burn wounds, microvascular anastomosis and fingertip amputation reconstruction, compressive nerve conditions such as cubital tunnel and Guyon canal syndrome, and the management of malignant melanoma and rarer cutaneous tumours. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Turkish Medical Association and the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association.
