Head of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Koç University Hospital in İstanbul. Trained at Hacettepe University and the Cleveland Clinic's microsurgery division, and certified by the European Board of Plastic Surgery since 2007.
Biography
Prof. Dr. Galip Ağaoğlu heads the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Koç University Hospital, where he has practised since 2020. He completed his residency at Hacettepe University School of Medicine, one of Türkiye's oldest plastic surgery programmes, and holds certification from the European Board of Plastic Surgery.
In 2004–2005 he was a research fellow in the microsurgery division of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, and spent a further period as a clinical observer at a plastic surgery practice in the United States. Before joining Koç University he practised for many years in İstanbul and held an associate professorship at İstanbul Bilim University. His aesthetic practice covers rhinoplasty, breast surgery, facial rejuvenation, liposuction, abdominoplasty and otoplasty.
