Biography

Prof. Dr. Reha Yavuzer has been a professor of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at VKV American Hospital in İstanbul since 2010, holding a faculty appointment at Koç University over the same period. He studied medicine at Ankara University between 1986 and 1992, including an internship at the University of Edinburgh, and completed his plastic surgery residency at Gazi University School of Medicine.

He was a craniofacial clinical fellow at the Institute of Craniofacial Surgery, Providence Hospital in the United States, in 1998–1999 and returned there in 2003, later holding associate professor positions both at Gazi University and at Providence Hospital before his professorship in 2004. His stated areas of interest are aesthetic surgery together with radiofrequency and cavitation treatments.
