Areas of Expertise

Sleeve Gastrectomy & Gastric Bypass

Primary bariatric operations performed laparoscopically or robotically, chosen after multidisciplinary assessment rather than by patient request alone.

Metabolic Surgery

Operations aimed at type 2 diabetes and metabolic disease as much as at weight, where the hormonal effect of the procedure is the treatment goal.

Revision Bariatric Surgery

Second operations after insufficient weight loss, weight regain or severe reflux following a previous bariatric procedure — technically more demanding than a primary operation.

Reflux Surgery

Laparoscopic anti-reflux procedures and hiatal hernia repair, often decisive in choosing between sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass.
